Winning, losing and taking part together: Physical Education thrives at Drayton Manor.  Physical Education is an important part of our culture and we endeavour to instil a thirst for physical activity throughout life. As a foundation, students will develop their physical literacy and self-esteem to enable them to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.

We have an extensive sporting offer which is enjoyed by every student as part of the curriculum.  We challenge racial, gender and socio-cultural stereotypes in all forms of physical activity and provide every opportunity for students to develop leadership skills and responsibility.

We aim to help students to learn to try new pursuits and cope with success and failure, to understand and appreciate others, and to encourage the appreciation of fair play.

Our extra-curricular offer is highly valued and provides the opportunity for the pursuit of sporting excellence on a local and national level.
