School begins at 8:55am and ends at 3:30pm.

Break is from 11:10 - 11:30am.

There are two lunch breaks

1. the first for the lower school from 12:30 - 1:30pm.

2. the second for the upper school from 1:30 - 2:30pm.

There are five one-hour lessons a day.

This means that students are required to attend a total of 32 hours and 55 minutes of compulsory schooling per week.

In addition, the school building is open from 8.00am and students may attend the dining hall where they can access a breakfast. The site is also open until 5.30pm on many evenings to enable us to host a range of enrichment and extra-curricular activities for our students. The library opening hours are 8.30 – 5.00pm most evenings.

Attendance and Punctuality

We expect every student to attend regularly and on time. Students are expected to be at school by 8:53am at the latest. From this time, students will be admitted and held to be processed for being late to school. Tutor time begins at 8:55am. If a student is not in the tutor room at this time, they will be marked as late.

If for any reason a student is unable to attend, the school should be informed by the parent using the message function in the MyEd app on each day of absence providing evidence where necessary, for example medical appointments. It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to report student absence on EACH DAY OF ABSENCE by 8:00am. Please use ONE of the following methods to report absence

1. By using the free My Ed app (our preference)

2. By phoning the absence line on 020 8357 5607
